Donations and Pledges to UUFSMA are used as follows:
Though most of the work of operating our fellowship is done by volunteers and committees, we do pay our minister and we pay four Mexican staff members for administrative and technical work. Our rent, as well as legal and accounting fees, also make up a portion of our annual expenditures.
Every year, a generous portion of our net income is distributed in grants to local non-profit organizations which provide health, educational and environmental services for underserved communities in the San Miguel region. The grant applications from these non-profit organizations are carefully vetted by our all-volunteer Social Action
Committee.
